I'm Fat! The Road to 75 South Blogisode #7

Today was a kind of chill day. Spent the day chewing on fruits and veggies mostly..Had some grilled chicken and beef for lunch with broccoli and brown rice. I walked for an 1 hr & 12 minutes today. It was actually kind of hot but no excuses for me.I shot a few baskets in the driveway too for a bit before shutting it down. All in all I feel great...I'm moving and headed in the right direction.. I need to drink more water..

i'm Fat! The Road to 75 South Blogisode #6

Top of the morning to ya!

I decided to wait until today to log in for my latest blog. Had a loooong Memorial Day and a late workout with my son AJ. Since I've been in Nashville, its been kinda hard to have a consistent workout partner with everyone having their own unpredictable life(as I do) but now that I am training my son, I have found that partner from within my home. I'm not saying that you can't work out on your own and have great results, its' just fun to have someone to push and be pushed by( the conversation isn't bad either)

I had a great time at the in laws, and we at very well. For breakfast, I had cherries, water and almonds. For lunch and dinner I had grilled chicken in olive oil, lean beef, brown rice and steamed broccoli. Yummy Yummy! I think i took my last bite around 8 pm, which is my self imposed food curfew... Staying away from sugar hasn't really been a big deal for me since I've surrounded myself with so much fruit and water. I feel great and so pumped in what I'm doing.

Aj and I work out on M-W-F so even though we got hone late we didn't skip our time in the Garage(aka "The SweatBox)

I did 3 sets of 100 jump ropes at a nice page, the 4th we timed ourself for a minute. I think I got in 139..not too bad

From there we did 3 sets on the Bench-Press, Arm Curls, Triceps and I did a set on the shoulders.

Teaching him to work out is so fulfilling to me, The whole time he looks directly into my eyes, we are building such a strong connection. We wrapped things up with 3 sets of sit ups and we called it a night.
